High-performance granulating system

The system consists of a new feed conveyor (belt width: 980 mm, axle spacing: 6000 mm) with a metal-free zone, equipped with a used metal detection bridge (detection width: 1000 mm, passage height: 500 mm). This metal detection bridge indicates whether metal is present in the material. As soon as metallic material is detected, the conveyor belt stops, allowing the hazardous material to be removed. This often helps prevent damage to the granulator, which could otherwise result in costly repairs.

The heart of this system is a granulator (GSH 800/1200), which grinds the material to your desired granulate size. The final size of the material is determined by an interchangeable screen plate located beneath the rotor. Thanks to the generously designed hopper opening (1470 mm x 1200 mm), bulky materials such as car bumpers can be easily processed.

After grinding, the material is transported by an extraction fan (MFT 55/500) into a suction system. Here, the material is separated into usable granulate and a lightweight fraction. Additionally, an integrated all-metal separator ensures that all metallic parts are sorted out again, guaranteeing that no particle damaging to the product remains in the grinded material.

For optimal storage, the material is filled into big bags.
